- Acute Care Technician - AEMT

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day brings new opportunities to make a difference? At Renown Health, we’re looking for an Acute Care Technician – AEMT/Advanced to join our team and support both patient care and nursing operations across all ages—from pediatrics to geriatrics.
In this role, you’ll provide hands-on patient care, technical support, and vital operational assistance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider. Your contributions will directly impact patient safety, comfort, and experience while supporting the broader care team.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist patients with daily living activities, mobility, and comfort while providing emotional support.
- Accurately obtain and document vital signs for pediatric and adult patients.
- Support clinical procedures including phlebotomy, IV access, medication administration, and other skills within established competencies.
- Transport patients and equipment, monitor safety precautions, and assist with clerical responsibilities.
- Ensure proper infection control, equipment decontamination, and safe handling of materials.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow care team members to promote excellent patient outcomes.
Schedule:
- Full-time, Part-time, or Per Diem options available
- Night Shift and Day Shift available

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Experience: Prior healthcare experience preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- State of Nevada and Nationally Registered EMT Advanced Certification required
- AHA BLS certification (required).
- AHA ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire).
- Skills: Strong communication, ability to prioritize under stress, and a passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
