Description
CassonX are delighted to be recruiting for this boutique yet fast growing c$3bn Hedge Fund, boasting some of the most impressive returns in 2025. Whilst running their own fund (market neural) and being an allocator and multi-manager, this company offers a lot of diversity and process in their company, making any employees career hugely exciting and opportunistic. This role has been created through growth, and where the COO is incredibly busy and needs a "right hand person" to assist in making sure all business requirements are supported. We are very excited to be part of their high growth strategy. To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to ideally identify someone who has experience of being a Business Manager or part of a COO office in a buyside firm (preferably Alternatives). However, they would consider someone from a Prime COO office background with focus on alternative clients. If this is not showcased on a CV, then you must have outstanding experience of working in Operationally aligned roles, showcasing a knowledge of trade lifecycles for a variety of asset classes and strategies, and preference is given those who has worked in an Allocator or Multi-Manager business where you have had to hold oversight with a variety of clients and fund structures. Wider knowledge of Investor and Fund Onboarding, supporting manager selection processes, Treasury, Vendor and Service Provider relationship management, Regulatory / Transaction Reporting and Expenses/Fees management is distinctly advantageous, and it is deemed essential that the successful person will have proven project skills showcased on their CV. This is to make sure that the successful person can cope with the huge variety and a wide responsibilities you would be expected to turn your hands to on a day-to-day basis.
This incredibly exciting role role will not only see you directly working with the COO, but will see you involved in every aspect of non-investments. This role needs someone with proven experience who can use their skills to deal with many aspects, but also knowledgeable and tenured enough to work things out when left on their own. Your Strategic Middle Office day will see you oversee all relationships making sure the service providers and outsourced settlement firms are doing what they are supposed to be doing, but you will also be involved in many projects, lots of institutional investment onboarding, supporting the new manager selection process, SMA/Managed account allocating, Treasury Management and expenses/fees management.
