An international brokerage company based in Geneva is looking for their new CFO.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the financial strategy to support profitable growth in a fast-paced, transaction-driven brokerage environment.
• Lead and scale the finance function, partnering closely with the CEO and senior leadership on strategic decisions, pricing, and expansion.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and margin analysis with a strong focus on transaction volumes and commission structures.
• Ensure robust cash flow management, including client prepayments, operator payments, deposits, and credit risk control.
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs) to management, shareholders, and external stakeholders.
• Optimize financial processes to support high-volume transactions and business growth initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial, tax, and multi-jurisdictional regulatory requirements, implementing strong internal controls and risk management practices.
• Act as the primary financial contact for shareholders, auditors, banks, and external advisors.

Requirements

• Proven experience as CFO, Finance Director, or senior finance leader within a fast-paced services or brokerage business; experience in aviation, travel, hospitality, or luxury services is a strong advantage.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, reporting, transactional accounting, and brokerage economics (margins, commissions, liquidity cycles).
• Experience managing multi-jurisdictional operations and cross-border transactions.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; professional certifications (CPA, CFA, Chartered Accountant) are a plus.
• Commercially driven, detail-oriented, and capable of translating financial data into strategic insights.
• Demonstrated leadership ability in building and managing high-performing finance teams.
• Fluency in English required; additional European languages are an asset.
• Based in Europe with flexibility to travel as required.
