Co-op - Data Management - Cleveland, OH - Spring/Summer 2026
Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree to participate in paid co-op opportunities at our site in Cleveland, OH. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company.
Your role:
- Data entry and processing: Curate and process clinical data coming into the company into our database.
- Quality assurance: Ensure incoming data is validated for compliance and of proper quality.
- Data processing: creating meaningful software tools to automatically process our clinical data. These tools range from proper data curation and cleaning to manipulating the data such that these can be utilized for advanced scientific projects.
- Data organization: Structuring and organizing data files in a systematic way to improve accessibility and usability.
- Archiving: Assisting with the archiving or deletion of outdated and irrelevant data files
- Documentation: Assist with the creation of guidelines for quality assurance and data entry and processes.
- Collaboration: Working with team members from clinical and engineering departments to support data-related projects and answer data queries.
You're the right fit if:
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a relevant field, such as:
- (Bio)Medical engineering
- Computer Science/ IT
- Clinical research
- Data Science or Analytics
- Clinical skills: basic understanding of human biology
- Technical skills: Proficiency scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) and Microsoft Office suite, willingness to learn programing languages
- Soft skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- General requirements: The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.
This is an office role.

Philips Transparency Details
The hourly pay range for this position is $24.00 to $36.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
Additional Information
US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.
Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Cleveland, OH (Orange, Ohio)
