I'm working with a global hedge fund to hire a Data Analyst to join their team. This role focuses on turning complex datasets into actionable insights, with a strong emphasis on leveraging modern AI-driven tools to enhance analysis, improve efficiency, and support data-led decision-making across the business.

Responsibilities

Analyse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities

Develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar

Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data solutions

Perform data validation, cleaning, and transformation to ensure accuracy and reliability

Automate reporting processes and improve existing data workflows

Use modern analytics tools, including AI-assisted platforms, to enhance efficiency and insight generation

Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

Degree in a quantitative field

Experience in a Data Analyst or similar role

Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel (Python or R is a plus)

Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker)

Familiarity with AI-assisted analysis tools (e.g. Claude or similar)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience working with large or complex datasets

Ability to communicate insights effectively in a business context
