Description
We have an opening for a Data Analyst I or II in Fergus Falls, MN. Our company's commitment is to environmental, economic, and community stewardship and we balance each decision we make with the impact it has on our friends and neighbors.A bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related financial field is required. Experience in the utility industry is preferred. Applicants must have at least two years of experience in general financial accounting, with an understanding of accounting processes and issue resolution. Knowledge of financial reporting principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is preferred. Experience with budgeting software, Oracle, CRM and an understanding of customer service and market planning programs and initiatives is also beneficial. Strong communication skills are essential, especially the ability to explain financial information and accounting concepts in a clear, approachable way to customer service teams and other nonaccounting audiences. The ideal candidate is supportive and willing to answer questions from internal staff and leadership, creating an environment where people feel comfortable seeking guidance. This role requires a selfstarter who can work independently while remaining accessible and effectively supporting customer service personnel and leadership.
The successful applicant will provide comprehensive analysis, evaluation, and reporting for all Customer Service cost centers. This role coordinates the Customer Service budget and forecast processes, ensuring the accuracy, timing, and functionality of all related reports and data.

- The expected base compensation for this role is $57,000 - 78,000 annually. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
