Job Title: Data Analytics Analyst II
Location: Remote (U.S.)
Reports To: Head of Data Science & Analytics
Job Summary: Pharma Logistics is seeking a Senior Analyst Data & Analytics to help build the intelligence layer that powers data-driven decisions across the organization. In this role, you'll bridge the gap between raw data and business insight, shaping how information is defined, trusted, and used.
You'll play a key role in developing enterprise data standards, governance practices, and quality frameworks that ensure consistency and confidence in every report. At the same time, you'll bring data to life through dashboards and analytics solutions that surface performance trends, operational drivers, and financial outcomes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Data Strategy & Governance
- Strengthen the organization's data foundation by supporting the creation and enforcement of data quality standards, validation processes, and business rules.
- Develop and maintain data definitions, dictionaries, and documentation to ensure clarity and consistency across systems and domains.
- Partner with IT and business teams to align data structures and integrations with governance and analytical requirements.
- Support metadata management, lineage tracking, and version control for analytical datasets.
- Contribute to the continued evolution of Pharma Logistics' enterprise data strategy and stewardship practices.
Reporting & Business Intelligence Development
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc analyses that provide clear visibility into key performance metrics.
- Validate and reconcile data between source systems, data warehouses, and reporting layers to ensure accuracy and trust.
- Translate complex business needs into structured, visually engaging analytical outputs.
- Support the delivery of scalable, reusable BI solutions that promote analytic consistency across departments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine data visualization standards and enhance decision-making through insight-driven design.
Analytics & Insight Generation
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with data automation, transformation, and validation scripting using SQL, Python, or R.
- Work closely with Product, IT, and Operations to prioritize analytics initiatives and elevate data quality across workflows.
- Support advanced initiatives such as forecasting, benchmarking, and statistical modeling as analytics maturity expands.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience (including internships or project-based experience) in data analytics, business intelligence, or applied data strategy.
- Proficiency with SQL and/or Python for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Sigma, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Exceptional documentation, organization, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, metrics design, and KPI development.
- Demonstrated problem-solving mindset with high attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Beneficial Education, Skills and Experience:
- Experience working with Snowflake, Azure, or other cloud data warehouse environments.
- Familiarity with DBT or similar ETL/ELT tools.
- Exposure to Python or R for analytics automation and model prototyping.
- Experience working with healthcare or supply chain data.
- Understanding of data load and transformation workflows, including third-party ETL tools (e.g., DBT Cloud).
- Proven ability to collaborate across technical and business functions to deliver enterprise-level insights.
Compensation Range and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $72,000-82,000.00 USD annually, including equity and bonus. Actual salary may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, Pharma Logistics' business and organizational needs, as well as an individual's relevant experience, education, qualifications, certifications, skills, seniority, geographic location, and/or performance.
