Description
We have an exciting opportunity for Senior Associate - Data Owner role, responsible for establishing ownership and controls for critical product data to enable analytics, compliance, and client impact.As a Senior Associate Area Data Owner within Consumer & Community Banking Data & Analytics team, you will oversee and steward data within digital business applications such as web and mobile platforms, dashboards, and personalization engines. This data supports business objectives, analytics, reporting, operations, and AI/ML use cases that enhance customer engagement, relevancy, and revenue optimization.
Job responsibilities
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders including analytics, engineering, product, and business teams to ensure data requirements and deliverables are clearly communicated and delivered on time
- Support the prioritization of data initiatives aligned with business value and technical feasibility
- Identify and document critical data scope, meaning, and classification with appropriate metadata
- Contribute to data strategy and delivery of AI-ready data products supporting omni-channel, personalization and customer engagement strategies
- Partner with stakeholders to investigate and resolve data issues, and execute processes to monitor and escalate risks related to data quality, protection, and retention
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree with 5= years of related data management, analytics, or platform experience
- Strong knowledge of data technologies including analytics, business intelligence, data analysis, data warehousing, data management & governance, and data quality principles
- Foundational knowledge in data engineering and analytics tools (SQL, Tableau, Alteryx) with exposure to machine learning concepts (Python, JupyterLab) and cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks)
- Familiarity with data risk and control requirements; ability to execute within established frameworks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
- Strong business acumen with ability to connect data initiatives to business outcomes
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Familiarity with open data standards, data taxonomy, vocabularies, and metadata management concepts
- Exposure to digital data, customer data, or marketing analytics a plus
