Description
Oversee fundraising and strengthening relationship with supporters. Work with Executive Director to create development plans to help direct fundraising efforts for individuals, corporations, and foundations. Reports to the Executive Director. Supervises Event Manager, Communications Manager, and Grant Coordinator staff (3).
Requirements
Duties Include:
Cultivate and solicit donors
Create and execute fundraising plans
Implement Annual Gift and Membership campaigns
Oversee communications and event staff
Grants:
Oversee active grants program including public and private sources
Match organizational needs with grant opportunities
Special Events:
Conduct annual NAMI Walks event
Conduct other fundraising and development events as needed
Communications and marketing:
Develop and maintain communications and marketing plan
Work to increase level of visibility and awareness
Requirements:
5+ years of success in development, marketing, and grant writing
Ability to work as part of a team with staff and volunteers
Well organized and very good communication skills
Self-starter
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or greater
Professional certifications and affiliations a plus
