Job Title: Faculty, Radiology Technology

Summary:
The Radiologic Technology Faculty will perform instructional responsibilities as required. Must demonstrate teaching skills by selecting and implementing instructional strategies for teaching and assessing student achievement of the learning objectives of the program.
Examples of Duties:
Instruct, advise, consult with and evaluate the performance of enrolled students.
Develop and maintain course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, course reference/bibliography, assignments, tests, and other course materials.
Maintain student records, attendance, grades, and/or other documentation as required.
Participate in department meetings and comply with department decisions regarding instructional matters.
Participate in department and institutional assessments of student learning and in department and institutional surveys.
Meet with courses and laboratories at scheduled time.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree.
- Proficient in curriculum design, evaluation, instruction, program administration, and academic advising.
- Documents three years’ clinical experience in the professional discipline.
- Holds current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in radiography.
- Illinois radiologic technologist license.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years’ experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program
- Doctorate
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists MR credential.
- Knowledgeable of the JRCERT accreditation.
- Experience with developing didactic and clinical outcomes/curricula on a program and course level.
- Excellent technology and classroom management skills.
