Description

Our client, a leading hedge fund, is looking to hire an Instrument Reference Data Specialist for the APAC Reference Data Management team in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Deliver robust reference data operations, with a focus on instrument master data, with exposure to other types of reference data i.e. third-party and EOD pricing data.
• Adhere to and uphold a routine playbook of operational procedures and controls.
• Capture all metadata feeding into an Incident Management program for all reference data issues.
• Collaborate with front- and back-office stakeholders throughout the firm to prioritize and resolve production issues.
• Generate regular operational reports for team and management reviews
• Partner with IT team to implement reference data system enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in data analysis and management in financial services
• Must be knowledgeable and/or have experience with Reference Data.
• Practical understanding of equities, futures, and options.
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel (Python is advantageous).
• Capability to thrive in a dynamic setting involving various stakeholders.
• Exceptional focus on precision, coupled with enthusiasm for process design and automation, plus robust analytical abilities.
