Job DescriptionGeneral Summary:
The Pharmacology Research Scientist works with a high degree of independence and is adept at conceptually outlining studies to design, execute and interpret assays to study the action of compounds on in vitro or in vivo disease biology. Completes work in a resourceful, self-sufficient manner and is able to design alternative approaches to achieve desired outcomes. Keeps current on the scientific literature relevant to his/her scientific methodology or field(s) of technical expertise. This level captures both the Research organization's entry level for staff with a research doctoral degree (PhD) and the advanced experimental expert leading one or more critical laboratory functions with high impact on drug discovery projects.

Pay Range:
$105,600 - $158,400
Disclosure Statement:
The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
