We're supporting a major global investment firm that is strengthening its special situations strategy. As part of this growth, they're hiring an Associate to join their Portfolio Oversight & Analytics team. This hire will support their data management and leverage analytical tools across the firm.

In this position, you will help run and continuously develop the firm's portfolio analytics system. Your work will include maintaining the core data, updating models, checking for accuracy and supporting users from different regions when questions come up. You'll also help design dashboards and tools that give teams better insight into their portfolios. The role involves working closely with functions such as IT, Finance and Data Governance to keep the system reliable and up to date.

They are seeking someone academically strong with 2-4 years of experience in an analytical role within asset management, portfolio management or a similar area. You should be confident working with financial models and large data sets, and familiar with tools like Excel (Power Query / Power Pivot), Power BI, SQL or Python. Clear communication is important, as you'll regularly interact with investment professionals and other teams. Strong attention to detail, good organisation and a collaborative approach are also key.
