The Fredericksburg Convention and Visitor Bureau (FCVB) and Visitor Information Center proudly serve visitors, locals, and tourism industry partners by promoting Fredericksburg and Gillespie County as a premier Texas travel destination on the regional, national, and international stage. Tourism plays a vital role in sustaining our local community’s economy and enhancing the quality of life.
The President and CEO for the Fredericksburg Convention and Visitor Bureau is a full-time position that reports directly to the Board of Directors and serves as the senior executive responsible for the vision, strategic direction, and operational leadership of the FCVB. The President and CEO is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership and the organization’s overall success in its mission to increase tourism and overnight visitation. The President and CEO serves as the liaison to the City of Fredericksburg, the community, residents, elected officials, tourism, and business partners.
This position will lead the organization in driving visitor growth, overnight stays, economic impact, and destination brand strength in Fredericksburg and Gillespie County. The role acts as the primary liaison to municipal and county government, the community, the business and hospitality sectors, wineries, and industry stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a strategic, results-oriented leader who leverages research, analytics, and insight to advance destination performance while inspiring a collaborative team culture in a unique rural-destination environment.
