Responsibilities
This is a full-time remote position that can be located anywhere in the U.S. (East Coast or Central time zones preferred).
We are looking for a Provider Data Service Analyst to load and maintain provider contract rates and related data into our system. This entry-level position requires a detail-oriented professional to review and process provider contracts, ensure data accuracy, and support our revenue-generating operations. The analyst will work closely with our onshore and offshore teams to maintain data integrity and identify potential issues before they impact operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to understand complex contract requirements. Additional duties include:
- Responsible for loading provider contract rates into the company system with strict accuracy.
- Maintain and update provider contract information and related data in internal systems.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of provider data and contract submissions.
- Review provider contracts to understand contract intent and identify missing or unclear information that requires clarification.
- Analyze contract language and medical coding to ensure correct data entry and system processing.
- Work with internal teams to resolve data discrepancies and clarify contract requirements.
- Provide support to colleagues and collaborate across the onshore and offshore team.
- Monitor data processing workflows to identify potential issues and bottlenecks.
- Assist with creating reports and dashboards to track contract data accuracy and processing status.
- Support process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in data entry and contract management.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce errors and enhance operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of PPO network experience.
- Workers' compensation and group health claims experience required.
- Experience reviewing and analyzing provider contracts required.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and formulas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to identify and communicate contract gaps and ambiguities.
- Medical coding knowledge or background preferred.
- Experience with internal tools such as CPD, PCM, or similar systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
