Overview

• Monitor insurance risk on quarterly basis
• Contact clients regularly for appropriate communication and consultation
• Collect accurate client data periodically and verify to make sure there are no data discrepancies between the reinsurance agreement and data
• Analyse the client data to determine loss ratio and support business needs
• Participate in other RGA projects

What you will do

• Perform periodic insurance risk monitoring for enterprise/client/treaty level and support documentation for local and regional teams
• Validate client data if all financial figures on the statement are in line with reinsurance agreements
• Validate reinsurance premium through recalculation
• Treaty codification - update all key information on the reinsurance agreement to create new financial groupings and system treaty ids on administration system
• Support administration system mapping between client seriatim data and RGA standard data layout
• Support trend analysis, in-force business analysis, financial reporting and pricing
• Generate valuation extract for valuation, planning and related works
• Assist or participate in ad-hoc projects and relevant requirement as needed

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of full-time work experience in insurance industry
• At least 5 years actuarial experience, or possess a Korea Actuary designation with over 3 years' experience
• Actuarial or data analysis experience is preferred
• Proficient in both English and Korean
• Programming and database language skills (SQL, R, Python, etc) are preferred
