As a Software Developer III, you will primarily build Java services and client libraries that enable secure workload execution while contributing to platform automation and controls (CI/CD with Jenkins, Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, and observability). You will embed robust testing practices and collaborate across product, platform, and application teams to deliver resilient, auditable capabilities.Responsibilities

Establish observability (logs, metrics, traces), SLOs, and runbooks for operational excellence across services and platform components.
Integrate secure development practices and automate quality checks within pipelines (unit, integration, end‑to‑end, BDD with Cucumber).
Collaborate with platform and application owners to onboard workloads and enforce consistent controls.
Document designs, controls, and operating procedures; contribute to a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
5+ years of software/security engineering experience with end‑to‑end ownership in production environments.
Strong Java development skills (preferably Spring) building services and client libraries.
CI/CD engineering experience with Jenkins, including automated testing and policy enforcement.
Hands‑on Infrastructure as Code expertise with Terraform and secure environment provisioning.
Overall knowledge of SDLC and secure SDLC practices; agile methodologies.
AWS fundamentals (IAM, networking, compute/containers), Linux/Kubernetes basics.
Clear verbal and written communication and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience with confidential computing (e.g., AWS Nitro Enclaves) and related integration patterns.
Testing frameworks and BDD (Cucumber); supply chain hygiene (artifact integrity, SBOM).
Observability stacks and performance tuning in distributed systems.
Experience in large‑scale enterprise environments and relevant cloud/security certifications.
