As a member of Zebra’s Cloud Device Management Engineering team, you’ll develop Android Applications on Zebra Android Mobile Computers.

You’ll collaborate closely with Android system engineers, cloud architects, and product teams to build Android appliacations that power Zebra’s next-generation device enterprise applciations.

Responsibilities:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Android development using Kotlin and Java.
• Strong knowledge of Android foreground services, broadcast receivers, AIDL, and content providers, permissions.
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience implementing responsive UI designs based on Figma mockups.
• Experience with Unit Testing & UI Testing: JUnit, Mockito, Espresso and Code coverage: Jacaco.
• Experience handling parallel & concurrent operations using threads, Handlers, AsyncTasks, WorkManager.
• Experience in designing and implementing SQLite databases for Android applications using Room and raw SQL.
• Good understanding of Android frameworks and services.
• Proficiency in integrating SSO solutions using Chrome Custom Tabs or MSAL library.
• Knowledge in security practices and security frameworks.
• Basic understanding of identity management tools such as MS Entra, Okta, or Ping ID is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and innovatively in software development.
• Familiarity with Gerrit or similar code review and version control tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications:

• Preferred Education: Bachelor's or Masters degree in an appropriate engineering discipline required.
• Preferred Work Experience (years):Bachelors degree and 2+ years or Masters degree with no experience.
• All Other Regions: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an appropriate engineering
  discipline required
• Preferred work experience (years): 5+ years experience
