Analyzes, develops, designs, and maintains software for the organization's products and systems. Performs system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency. Develops, validates, and tests: structures and user documentation. Work may be reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy. Follows established processes and directions.
Responsibilities:
- Establishes requirements for less complex design projects
- Works on Completing all phases of Software engineering design projects
- Works on analysis of processes and delivers results to necessary stakeholders
- Analyzes results and recommends solutions
- Works on developing expected results on a variety of products
- Develops documentation for new projects and reviews previous results
- Works with latest technologies and new approaches
- Reviews changes or upgrades to existing designs or test
- Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions on assignments
Qualifications:
- U.S. Only:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1 to 3 years of experience
- Quantitative and problem solving skills
- B.E/B Tech in computer science or related field
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a Software Quality Engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including System, Functional, Integration, Regression, and Acceptance testing.
- Proven experience in developing, maintaining, and executing comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process, including iteration planning, continuous integration, and release activities.
- Solid understanding of business requirements analysis and the ability to help establish clear acceptance criteria.
- Basic understanding of performance testing and exposure to tools such as JMeter, ALM, K6
- Exposure to observability tools such as data dog, Grafana.
Technical Skills- Hands-on experience with test automation tools, specifically Playwright, Cypress.
- Proficiency in applying test automation frameworks such as Page Object Model (POM) with BDD/Cucumber.
- Good SQL skills with the ability to write and execute queries for data verification and integrity checks.
- Experience with maintaining and managing test data and test infrastructure.
- Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools like GitHub Copilot and Gemini to enhance productivity.
Soft Skills- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with root cause analysis.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with product development teams.
- A keen eye for usability and visual consistency in user interfaces.
- The ability to provide insightful feedback on software design, user experience, and engineering documentation.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to clearly document test results, track defects, and report on testing progress.
