Description
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.As a Software Engineer III - iOS at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Community Banking, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting, thinking beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
- Create secure, high‑quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met by software code development.
- Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to continuously improve software applications and systems.
- Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Experience in designing and implementing iOS applications using Swift UI.
- Experience working with API integration.
- Experience in iOS frameworks like Foundation, UIKit, CocoaTouch, and Core Data.
- Experience using Xcode-provided tools like Debug Memory Graph, Debug View Hierarchy, and Instruments for profiling.
- Experience with one or more design patterns: MVC, MVVM, MVP, Singleton.
- Working knowledge of Git/Bitbucket version control.
- Created an application that is available in Apple's AppStore.
- Proficiency with Linux, Mac OS X, GNU tools, and scripting languages.
- Understanding of build systems and CI/CD (Jenkins).
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and code coverage tools for Swift.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
- Exposure to cloud technologies.
