Your new role
You will join a startup-like engineering environment working on multiple projects in parallel. Depending on your expertise, you may contribute as a developer or development lead.

Key duties include:

• Develop, maintain, and operate web-based applications
• Coordinate business requirements with stakeholders
• Participate in architecture design within Agile teams
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, etc.)
• Plan and manage testing (SIT, E2E, UAT)
• Collaborate closely with various business and IT teams, including overseas teams
• Support change management and release processes
• Provide L3 application support
• (If development lead)
  Manage project milestones and reporting
  Conduct code reviews and guide team members
  Promote Agile and DevOps practices across the organization

What you'll need to succeed
Mandatory

• Native-level Japanese or business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese
• 3+ years of experience with general-purpose programming languages across Unix/Linux/Windows
• Preferably experienced in Java or Python front-end development
• Hands-on experience with DevOps/Agile tools (Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Cucumber, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of Java frameworks (e.g., Spring)
• Database design experience (preferably SQL Server)
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to connect business needs with technology and propose appropriate solutions

Preferred

• Experience leading teams (5-15 people)
• 3+ years hands-on development experience in a securities/trading environment
• Knowledge of Angular/React, Node.js, TypeScript
• Agile certification
• Business-level English
• JSDA Sales Representative Qualification or Internal Control Manager Certification
