You'll also:
- Execute and maintain match and merge survivorship rules, hierarchy structures, and master data relationships - including territories, affiliations, and reporting relationships - in alignment with defined business standards
- Validate the implementation of business-defined master data rules within IT-managed systems, identifying and escalating issues to the Data Value and Management Strategy as appropriate
- Support the integration of new data sources into established master data structures
- Monitor Commercial data quality KPIs, track rule catalogs, and support routine reporting against defined thresholds
- Perform root cause analysis for identified data quality issues and support remediation efforts through to resolution
- Maintain accurate documentation of data quality rules, issue logs, remediation status, and metadata for Commercial data domains
- Support data stewardship activities including issue intake, tracking, and preparation of materials for governance forums
- Ensure consistent application of established data standards and governance controls across Commercial domains
- Partner with Data Products and Semantic Layer teams to align on master data definitions, and collaborate with IT Data Enablement teams to clarify business rules and validate system implementation
- Serve as a subject matter resource for Commercial master data and data quality inquiries across the organization
Who You Are:
You have a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Health Economics, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, or a related quantitative field (MBA, MS, or other advanced degree preferred), along with 5+ years of experience in Commercial data, analytics, or data management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, or a related field. You are highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to operate independently while collaborating across Business and IT, or you also have:
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical Commercial data including HCP, HCO, territory, payer, specialty pharmacy, and promotional data
- Experience executing match and merge logic, survivorship rules, and hierarchy maintenance
- Experience operating structured data quality monitoring processes and working with data quality rule catalogs and issue tracking processes
