Description
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in Big Data and Open Source Digital technologies. This role bridges the gap between business and technology, ensuring that requirements are accurately captured, documented, and communicated to development and testing teams. You will play a key role in shaping solutions for complex data-driven environments within the banking and insurance domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand Big Data application architecture and its integration within enterprise systems.
- Gather and document technology requirements from business stakeholders.
- Conduct requirement walkthroughs with development and testing teams.
- Liaise with business teams for requirement changes and clarifications.
- Review functional specifications from a technical perspective.
- Validate test strategies and scenarios prepared by QA teams.
- Ensure compliance and accuracy when handling highly confidential data in multi-cluster MS Azure environments.
- IT Business Analysis experience, with experience in Big Data or Open Source Digital technologies.
- Strong technical foundation with experience in:
- Big Data Stack: Spark, Hive, HBase, Apache Phoenix, Pig
- Programming: Python, Scala, Java
- Databases: SQL, Teradata, Oracle
- Scripting: Unix, Shell
- Experience in cloud environments (Azure / AWS / GCP) and Agile methodology.
- Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large volumes of data with precision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; adept at managing functional requirements and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong background in banking or insurance industries.
- Proven ability as an effective negotiator, people leader, and excellent communicator.
