At StoryIQ, we envision a world where data is a language that we all speak fluently. As a trainer on our team, you will be delivering our market-leading data storytelling and data analysis courses. Our courses focus on teaching our learners skills they can put to use the next day. They are practical, fun to teach, and an excellent opportunity to share your skills and expertise outside of a traditional “corporate” job. Full-time and part-time training opportunities are available.

As a facilitator of StoryIQ courses, you will lead a series of discussions on essential concepts and skills to put together beautiful, engaging charts and insightful, data-driven presentations. You’ll support learners in determining how to develop data projects that derive value and lead stakeholders to action, by sharing practical frameworks for developing high-value business questions and effective hypothesis testing through analysis. You’ll run interactive workshop tasks that help participants put their new skills into practice and provide hands-on feedback and support to them. Initially, you would teach our two most popular courses; Data Storytelling for Business and Data to Insights.

Data Storytelling for Business focuses on developing effective and impactful data stories to help your audience focus on a data-based presentation's key takeaway. You will support learners in understanding their audience, developing strong visualizations, and crafting a cohesive narrative that engages and resonates with stakeholders.

Data to Insights helps learners think, and problem solve like management consultants, specifically around an analytics problem. You will support learners in developing high-value questions, structuring hypotheses, analyzing data to test those hypotheses, and then clearly communicating the insights gleaned from that analysis.

Presently, all our training is virtual. You will mostly work with clients in the North America region.

This role is highly flexible and autonomous. As part of this role, we ask that you be available to deliver courses outside of business hours from time to time.
