In 1921, Hoffman Auto Group was founded by Israel Hoffman with the acquisition of a Ford franchise in New Hartford, Connecticut. After 100 years of business, the Hoffman Auto Group is regarded as one of the most respected family-owned businesses in the state. With locations in four Connecticut towns, East Hartford CT, West Simsbury CT, Waterbury CT and New London, CT, along with two locations in Burlington, VT, the company is comprised of eleven brands, twelve dealerships, and two collision centers!

About Hoffman Auto Group
Hoffman Auto Group began its journey in 1921, when Israel Hoffman acquired a Ford franchise in New Hartford, Connecticut. What started as a single-point dealership has grown into one of the most respected and enduring family-owned automotive organizations in the region.
Now over 100 years later, Hoffman Auto Group continues to thrive under the leadership of the third generation of the Hoffman family, while actively preparing for a strategic and thoughtful transition to its fourth generation. Our legacy is built on integrity, trust, and a deep commitment to our employees, customers, and communities.
Today, Hoffman Auto Group operates in four Connecticut towns—East Hartford, West Simsbury, Waterbury, and New London—as well as in Burlington, Vermont, where we’ve recently expanded our footprint with the acquisition of two high-performing dealerships. Across twelve dealership locations, we represent eleven premier automotive brands and operate two full-service collision centers.
