Business Analyst- Software Development
Charleston, SC, USA | Full-Time (40)Responsibilities
- Lead the gathering of customer requirements and document business needs.
- Identify key success criteria for delivery of software products, processes, and systems.
- Interface with the product owners to present requirements documents.
- Document business requirements in issue tracking software.
- Lead routine development team meetings and document changes as needed.
- Perform software testing; lead sprint planning and sprint showcase efforts.
- Participate in the software development lifecycle process, including with end users, product owners, and cross-disciplinary teams.
- Lead and actively participate in the development and implementation of new processes that improve efficiency and enhance productivity.
- May oversee or mentor junior analysts and team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience
- Demonstrated experience using Agile processes and methodologies
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
- Experience using JIRA software for project management and software development
- Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBPA) certification preferred
- Prior experience with on-site government agency support preferred
- Ability to pass a National Agency Check (NACI) and maintain it throughout the duration of employment.
