Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with users and project teams to gather and clarify requirements
• Analyze business needs and design data solutions that meet both functional and non-functional goals
• Investigate existing systems to trace original source data
• Work with application development teams to implement data strategies and build data flows
• Guide engineers and analysts on system capabilities, limitations, and performance requirements
• Discover and document metadata, data relationships, and dependencies
• Design logical and physical data models
• Create design documentation including Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs)
• Prepare test cases, test data, and capture test evidence

Requirements

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 6-10 years of experience in system development or business/system analysis
• Proven track record in managing and delivering successful projects
• Demonstrated leadership and project coordination skills

Technical Skills

• Strong data/system analysis skills using various programming languages
• Solid knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, Linux, and networking
• Experience with data structures, data modeling, and data management
• Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystem and tools like Hive, HBase, Zeppelin, Spark, Livy, Solr
• Exposure to REST APIs, microservices, ETL pipelines, and Salesforce is a plus
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and streaming data processing is preferred
