The San Diego Convention Center has retained SearchWide Global to find a dynamic, visionary, and commercially astute President & Chief Executive Officer to lead one of the premier waterfront convention centers in North America. Positioned at the intersection of tourism, economic development, and civic engagement, the CEO will advance SDCCC’s role as a strategic economic engine for the region while delivering world-class experiences for clients, attendees, and the broader community.

The San Diego Convention Center Corporation is a nonprofit public benefit corporation responsible for the management, operation, and marketing of the San Diego Convention Center, one of the premier convention and event facilities in the United States.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will provide enterprise leadership across operations, sales, marketing, finance, capital planning, labor relations, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment with the long-term vision of San Diego as a global destination.

Direct Reports: Deputy CEO/CFO, Chief of Hospitality and Client Experience, Chief of Infrastructure and Modernization, Executive Director of Marketing & Communications, Controller, Vice President of HR & Legal Affairs.

Salary: The current salary for the position is $417,747.20 (current CEO). The final base salary and compensation package for the next CEO will be determined based on qualifications.
