The Role We are partnering with a growing healthcare platform to hire a Compliance and Data Protection Manage. This is a key hire responsible for driving data protection, governance, and licensing strategy, while supporting business growth and new initiatives. Responsibilities
- Act as appointed DPO, ensuring compliance with PDPA and data protection standards
- Provide practical advice on data, regulatory, and compliance matters to business teams
- Oversee risk and compliance frameworks, including policy development and governance
- Lead enterprise risk activities across BCM, technology risk, and data protection
- Manage audits, certifications (e.g. ISO), and regulatory requirements
- Drive licence applications, regulatory engagement, and ongoing obligations
- Identify and manage grant opportunities, including submissions and reporting
- Handle compliance incidents, investigations, and corrective actions
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders on governance and due diligence
- Approximately 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk, or data protection roles
- Strong knowledge of PDPA and Singapore regulatory landscape
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or financial services is advantageous
- Familiarity with ISO standards and audit processes
- Exposure to licensing and/or grant applications is preferred
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to provide practical, business-aligned advice
