The Indianapolis, Indiana office of FBT Gibbons is seeking a Corporate Associate for its Business Combinations and Capital Transactions Practice Group.

Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in M&A and general corporate transactions
- Experience representing clients on both buyside and sellside matters
- Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Indiana bar admission or eligibility to waive in
Responsibilities
The associate will serve as a key member of deal teams and will be involved in all phases of transactions, including:
- Managing and coordinating M&A due diligence, including issue identification, and translating findings into practical, businessfocused advice
- Drafting and negotiating purchase agreements and related transaction documents, with responsibility for incorporating diligence findings and specialist input
- Working directly with partners, clients, opposing counsel, and internal subjectmatter specialists
- Advising on risk allocation issues, including indemnities, escrows, caps, baskets, and representation and warranty insurance
- Overseeing signing and closing processes, including checklists, execution, and postclosing matters
This position is wellsuited for an associate looking to take on meaningful responsibility, develop client relationships, and work closely with partners on sophisticated transactions.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $180,000 to $195,000, reflecting a variety of factors including experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable employment laws.
Associates are also eligible for:
- Quarterly and annual objective bonuses, with maximum objective bonus opportunities ranging from approximately $14,000 to $22,000 per year, depending on associate level
- Annual subjective bonus
