About the role
As a Data Engineer (Data Quality & ETL), you will make an impact by designing and delivering trusted data pipelines that underpin analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives. You will be a valued member of our Technology Consulting team, working collaboratively with Data Quality Architects, solution teams, and client stakeholders to build scalable, high-quality AWS-based data platforms.
In this role, you will:
- Design, build, and operate AWS-based ETL pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and migration initiatives
- Partner closely with Data Quality Architects to implement data quality rules, controls, and remediation strategies
- Embed data quality validation into data pipelines to ensure reliability, accuracy, and consistency of data
- Enable data quality reporting and insights using tools such as AWS Athena, Power BI, and Excel
- Collaborate with cross-functional consulting and delivery teams in fast-paced client environments

What you must have to be considered
- Experience designing and building ETL and data pipelines in AWS environments
- Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, including ETL jobs and data cataloging
- Strong SQL skills, with experience querying data using tools such as AWS Athena
- Working knowledge of data quality concepts such as completeness, accuracy, and consistency
- Ability to communicate data issues and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience integrating data quality rules into ETL pipelines and reporting workflows
- Exposure to additional AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Step Functions, or CloudWatch
- Experience supporting data migration, modernisation, or platform transformation programs
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts for data pipelines
- Consulting or client-facing delivery experience
