As a Fraud Data Scientist in the International Consumer Bank, you will work within a flat-structure organization, delivering end-to-end, cloud-native microservices applications using the latest technologies. You'll be involved in designing and architecting solutions, focusing on all stages of the software development lifecycle. Our team thrives on innovation, collaboration, and a solution-oriented approach, giving you the opportunity to move between squads and projects based on your strengths and interests.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fraud strategies and rules to detect fraudulent activities
- Conduct analytics to support fraud strategy, operations, and financial crime protection
- Translate fraud strategy into operational impact to improve efficiency and decision accuracy
- Collaborate with fraud risk teams to ensure models, rulesets, and strategies are effective
- Ensure compliance, audit, and control frameworks are followed using data-driven confirmation
- Share best practices across JPMorganChase
- Communicate concisely and effectively with management and partners
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Master's degree in a numeric or STEM field such as statistics, computer science, or data science
- Knowledge of fraud and financial crime processes and products
- Experience in team development and management
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience with cloud-native microservices architecture
- Familiarity with fintech environments and agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to thrive in collaborative squads and adapt to changing projects
- Commercial awareness and solution-oriented mindset
- Superior written, oral, and presentation skills
