MaineHealth is seeking a Director, Quality Data Analysis to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of quality analytics that drive clinical excellence across our organization. This leadership role partners with operational, clinical, and executive teams to transform complex healthcare data into actionable insights that improve quality outcomes, patient safety, regulatory performance, and strategic decision-making.

What You'll Do

• Lead a team responsible for quality and performance analytics.
• Develop dashboards, reporting, and data-driven insights that support organizational goals.
• Partner with clinical and operational leaders to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across quality reporting initiatives.
• Support regulatory reporting, accreditation requirements, and performance measurement.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement through analytics and evidence-based decision-making.

What You'll Bring

• Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience in an appropriate discipline. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business management, or related field.
• 5-10+ years managing technical resources. Oversight of business intelligence and software developers, graphics design teams, and data analysts preferred. 7+ years working with healthcare related data and large data structures.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare quality metrics, regulatory reporting, and data governance.
• Extensive experience in requirements gathering, data mining, design, testing, validation, implementation, and support of enterprise data structures.
• Proficiency and experience using and/or building various software applications and business intelligence tools and platforms.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and translate data into strategic action.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project leadership skills.
• Ability to travel throughout various locations in the organization.

The pay range for this position is $113,360.00 to $153,379.20 per year.
