ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – PLAINTIFF'S EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION

ABOUT THE FIRM
Moore & Associates is a boutique plaintiff's employment law firm in Houston, Texas dedicated exclusively to representing employees. Our practice encompasses the full spectrum of state and federal employment claims, including wrongful termination, workplace discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour violations. We handle matters at all levels of litigation, including appellate work before the Fifth and Tenth Circuits. We are a small, collegial firm where every attorney does meaningful work from day one — no document review warehousing, no sitting on the bench.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our growing practice. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Houston, Texas. The right candidate is a committed litigator who genuinely wants to be in the courtroom — taking depositions, arguing motions, and trying cases alongside experienced trial attorneys. If you are looking for remote work or a transactional practice, this is not the role for you. If you want hands-on litigation experience representing workers who have been wronged, we want to meet you.
QUALIFICATIONS
Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas (required — no exceptions)
Minimum 1–4 years of litigation experience; plaintiff's employment litigation experience strongly preferred
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Genuine commitment to representing employees and plaintiff's-side advocacy
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Houston, Texas metropolitan area
This is not a remote position — in-office attendance is required

Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage an active caseload of plaintiff's employment matters from intake through resolution
Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and appellate briefs
Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings, depositions, and trial
Appear in Texas state and federal court for hearings, conferences, and trials
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on state and federal employment law issues
Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client counseling
