National Capital Treatment & Recovery (NCTR), formerly Phoenix House, a nonprofit substance use treatment facility in Arlington, VA is hiring a full-time CEO to serve as the visionary and operational leader of the organization. They are responsible for translating the nonprofit's mission into actionable programs, ensuring clinical excellence in substance use treatment, maintaining financial health, and cultivating critical relationships with stakeholders, donors, and regulatory bodies. This is a full-time, salaried position with full benefits.
1. Responsible as an ex-officio member of the Board of Directors and its committees.
2. Responsible for the financial stability of NCTR
3. Responsible for the Administration of all NCTR programs and projects.
4. Responsible for the community relationships of all NCTR Programs.
Requirements
Any combination of education or experience equal to the following:
· Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as counseling, social work, psychology or nursing
· Minimum of 10 years leadership positions, with a focus on substance use treatment, non-profit, behavioral heath settings
· Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in clinical leadership
· Experience managing a licensed substance use treatment facility in Virginia is highly desirable
· Deep understanding of the substance use treatment field, evidence-based treatment models and healthcare compliance
· Active clinical license in good standing (in Virginia) in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing or related (LPC, LCSW, LSATP, LMFT, NP, RN) preferred
· Expertise in working with a Board of Directors and Executive Leadership management team
· Proven record of accomplishment in grant wiring, major donor fundraising and budget management.
