Description
THE COMPANY
BioQual Solutions is a bioanalytical Service lab based in San Diego, California. We specialize in high-sensitivity LC-MS/MS quantitation of small molecules, peptides, and oligonucleotides to support both non-GLP and GLP studies.
THE POSITION
We are seeking a hands-on Research Scientist to lead LC-MS/MS method development, validation, and sample analysis in a GLP-compliant environment. You will drive small molecule assay innovation, solve complex bioanalytical challenges, and support diverse client programs.
Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Method Development: Develop and validate robust LC-MS/MS bioanalytical assays for small molecules.
- Troubleshooting: Provide technical expertise to resolve challenging bioanalytical issues.
- Compliance & Documentation: Author SOPs, validation protocols, and study data reports under GLP guidelines.
- Lab & Project Support: Share lab management duties and collaborate to meet project milestones.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Ph.D. or M.S. in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–4 years of direct GLP bioanalytical LC-MS/MS experience.
- Technical Skills: Extensive hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS instrumentation and sample prep (PPT, LLE, SPE).
- Regulatory: Strong understanding of FDA/EMA bioanalytical regulatory guidance and GLP compliance.
- Collaboration: Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
