IHRE ROLLE

Für die Abteilung Konzernsicherheit und Krisenmanagement suchen wir eine erfahrene und hochqualifizierte Persönlichkeit für den Aufgabenbereich Sicherheitstechnik. In dieser Rolle tragen Sie die fachliche Verantwortung für die Schaffung und kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung einheitlicher Standards in der Sicherheitstechnik sowie für die Einführung innovativer Technologien in der Lieferkettensicherheit. Sie steuern die Umsetzung der Standards im Zusammenspiel diverser nationaler und internationaler Projektgruppen entwickeln diese als Koordinator/in des "Sicherheitstechnik Programm - Managements" eigenverantwortlich weiter. Außerdem unterstützen Sie das "Customer Security Programm" der Abteilung Konzernsicherheit und Krisenmanagement in allen Aspekten der Sicherheitstechnik. Dabei arbeiten Sie insbesondere mit den Information Security Organisationen (CISO) zusammen. Weitere maßgebliche Stakeholder sind Corporate Procurement und Corporate Real Estate. Sie berichten fachlich an den zuständigen Senior Experten im Corporate Center. Disziplinarisch sind Sie dem Abteilungsleiter 6500 der Service Niederlassung unterstellt.

WESENTLICHE AUFGABEN

• Eigenständige Konzeptionierung und Implementierung von Standards der Sicherheitstechnik ("prefered supplier" - Ansatz), ausgerichtet an der Konzernstrategie, den Geschäftsprozessen der Unternehmensbereiche sowie in Abstimmung mit der Automation & Robotics Group
• Steuerung von Projekten zur Einführung innovativer Sicherheitstechnik (z.B. im Rahmen von "Computer Vision" Anwendungen), auch im Rahmen des "Customer Security Program"

• Unterstützung von Sicherheitsaudits, Inspektionen und Untersuchungen zur Bewertung der Compliance und Identifikation von Verbesserungspotenzialen

• Stakeholder Management mit den wesentlichen operativen Ansprechpartnern/-innen über die kontinentalen Fachgremien für Sicherheitstechnik ("Digitalization, Robotics & Automation in Security", DARS)
• Ansprechpartner/in für Procurement sowie Real Estate bei der Auswahl und Beschaffung von Sicherheitstechnik sowie für Angebotsprüfungen bei großen Infrastrukturprojekten (Green / Brown Field)

• Beratung und fachliche Unterstützung interner Stakeholder sowie externer Kunden als Experte für Lieferkettensicherheit, kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung eines belastbaren Lieferantennetzwerks

• Eigenständige Analyse von technischen Innovationen der Sicherheitstechnik, insbesondere Digitalisierung und darauf basierend eigeninitiativ die Anpassung der Standards, Methoden und KPI's in einem sich verändernden Umfeld

• Aktives Monitoring relevanter gesetzlicher Vorgaben, Sicherheitsstandards und Best Practices, Eigeninitiative bei Fort- und Weiterbildung in o.g. Bereichen

• Mitwirkung an der Ressourcensteuerung und Entwicklung von Team-Mitgliedern.

IHR PROFIL

Fachliche Anforderungen

• Studium der Elektrotechnik/Informatik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation (z.B. technische Ausbildung und mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich Security-Technik sowie einschlägige berufsspezifische Qualifikationen)
• Langjährige Berufserfahrung in einer Konzernsicherheit oder einem Security - Technik Unternehmen, insbesondere in Bezug auf Pilotierung / Implementierung von innovativer Technologie sowie von Digitalisierungsinitiativen
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der DHL Group von Vorteil
• Sehr gute Markt- und Produktkenntnisse im relevanten Geschäftsfeld und gute internationale Vernetzung im Bereich Security Technik

• Sehr gute analytische Fähigkeiten sowie ausgeprägte Kommunikationsstärke
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse der MS-Office-Anwendungen.

Security Technology Coordinator & Program Manager (m/f/x) - (non-tariff, non-managerial) full time as of October 2026

YOUR ROLE

The Corporate Security & Crisis Management Department is seeking a highly experienced and qualified professional. In this position, you hold end-to-end functional ownership for the definition, governance, and continuous enhancement of global security technology standards, as well as for the deployment of innovative technologies across supply chain security. You will drive the global adoption of these standards in close collaboration with various national and international project organizations and further develop the Security Technology Program Management framework with a high degree of autonomy. In parallel, you will actively support the Customer Security Program, providing subject-matter expertise across all security technology dimensions. The role requires close alignment with Information Security functions (CISO organizations) as well as with key corporate stakeholders including Corporate Procurement and Corporate Real Estate. You report functionally to the designated Senior Expert within the Corporate Center and disciplinarily to the Head of Department 6500 of the Service Branch Corporate Center.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design, implementation, and governance of global security technology standards based on a preferred supplier strategy, fully aligned with Group strategy, divisional business processes, and in close coordination with the Automation & Robotics Group
• Manage and deliver projects focused on the roll-out of innovative security technologies (e.g., computer vision-based applications), including assignments under the Customer Security Program
• Support and contribute to security audits, inspections, and investigations to assess compliance levels and systematically identify optimization potential
• Drive stakeholder management across global operations through continental expert forums for security technology, including the Digitalization, Robotics & Automation in Security (DARS) committees
• Act as the central technical interface for Procurement and Real Estate functions regarding selection, evaluation, and sourcing of security technology solutions, including bid reviews for major infrastructure initiatives (greenfield and brownfield projects)
• Provide strategic consulting and technical advisory services to internal stakeholders and external customers as a recognized expert in supply chain security; actively build and maintain a resilient, high-performance supplier ecosystem
• Proactively assess emerging security technology trends with a strong focus on digitalization and data-driven solutions, translating innovation into updated standards, methodologies, and performance KPIs
• Continuously monitor regulatory requirements, international security standards, and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and driving continuous professional development

YOUR PROFILE

Professional Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable discipline; alternatively, a technical vocational qualification combined with extensive professional experience in security technology and relevant professional certifications
• Long-standing professional experience in corporate security or within a security technology provider, with demonstrated success in piloting and scaling innovative technologies and digital transformation initiatives
• Prior experience within DHL Group is considered a strong asset
• In-depth market and product expertise in the security technology domain, supported by a solid international professional network
• Strong analytical capabilities combined with excellent stakeholder communication and influencing skills
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
