Description

A leading proprietary trading firm is continuing to invest heavily in its core trading technology platform as it expands across Asia and into new global markets. Following strong growth in its listed derivatives business, the firm is hiring multiplesenior C++ engineers to help re-engineer its next-generation low latency trading platform.

This is an opportunity to work directly with traders and quantitative researchers on latency-critical systems supporting options, delta one and other electronic trading strategies. The team operates with a flat structure, offering high ownership, technical autonomy and direct business impact.
Responsibilities

1. Develop and optimise low latency C++ trading systems and exchange connectivity.
2. Design and enhance trading algorithms supporting quoting, hedging and arbitrage strategies.
3. Work closely with traders and quantitative researchers to translate trading requirements into production systems.
4. Improve system latency, throughput and reliability across the trading platform.
5. Participate in architecture, code reviews, testing and production support.

Requirements

1. 10+ years of commercial C++ development experience.
2. Strong experience building low-latency trading systems
3. Experience working directly with traders and the confidence to challenge technical requirements where appropriate.
4. Background in algorithmic trading, exchange connectivity or electronic trading systems.
5. Experience within proprietary trading firms, hedge funds or investment banks.
6. Options or ETF trading experience would be advantageous.
