What We're Looking For:
Under guidance from engineers, runs tests and diagnostics on preliminary/prototype software programs. Tests prototypes using standard lab equipment/processes. Maintains records of code tests and changes, and documents test results. Supports engineer with documentation validation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follows established processes to test products, software and applications.
- Works from written and verbal descriptions, or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble- shooting functions.
- Performs audits and tests of software products in accordance with test plans and procedures. Identifies actual or potential problems in test plans or company products.
- Records results of tests and maintains lab documentation as requierd..
- Assists product development engineers in the diagnosis and replication of product failures.
- Reviews and validates engineering documentation.
- Assists software engineer with software release process.
- Assignments are routine in nature and require limited judegement
- Has little or no role in decision making
- Normally provided wih detailed instructions for all work
- Works under close supervision

Job Requirements:
Minimum Experience:
- Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent vocational qualification/ experience and less than 1 year of experience
- Typically requires a minimum of 0 -2 years of related experience
- Ability to use MS-Word, MS-Excel and other office applications
Preferred Experience:
- Associates Degree preferred in Computer Science or other relevant concentration
- May be considered an apprentice or a trainee

Pay Range:
$21.54 - $32.31 Hourly
Incentive Compensation:
In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 3% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
