Your impact
You are a Staff Software Engineer who defines the long-term technical vision for a broad domain and aligns multiple teams around durable, business-driven solutions. You own architecture and technical strategy for your group, and you apply deep domain expertise and business acumen to shape investment decisions and roadmap priorities across teams. You operate primarily at the systemic and strategic level, but roll up your sleeves to unblock critical work, accelerate prototyping, or resolve hard technical problems when it matters. You are a culture champion for engineering excellence, and you develop the next generation of technical leaders by mentoring engineers toward broader scope and influence.
As a senior technical contributor, you have a passion for technology, and keep abreast of the latest trends, frameworks, and tools. As a technical leader, you advise our director of engineering on technical strategy for the org, while balancing our business and engineering priorities to help determine the right long-term initiatives and investments.

Work Location: This role is based out of our Ho Chi Minh City office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. We believe that connection fuels innovation, and our in-office culture is designed to foster meaningful teamwork, mentorship, and shared success.
What You'll Do
- Set a high technical bar for the team through deep technical insights and architecture design reviews
- Set group-level AI engineering strategy, aligning tool adoption and platform investments with long-term technical vision and business objectives.
- Define and enforce governance for AI-assisted development, including security, compliance, IP, and quality verification standards.
- Mentor software senior engineers across multiple teams
- Work across teams with Product, Design, and Engineering to solve some of our biggest technical challenges within our stack for our customers
- Drive quality, operational readiness, and engineering excellence standards across the group, and define governance and review protocols for major technical decisions.
- Build services that adhere to our high bar on availability, performance, and security in this mission-critical space
What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering
- Experience building and scaling complex and impactful software products in a team environment
- Deep skill in driving technical solutions across multiple teams
- Experience designing and delivering high-availability, scalable cloud-based systems
- You engage directly in technical work when it accelerates critical outcomes, and you hold strong standards for code quality, system design, and architectural decision-making across the group.
- You have a track record of setting the technical and organizational direction for a growing engineering team across multiple global locations
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers toward promotion readiness, conduct calibrated interviews for senior candidates, and partner with leadership on hiring strategy and talent gaps.
